When you are out walking, the sun shining providing your body with much need vitamin D is a great afternoon energizer. Besides natural vitamin D from the sun is need to help our bodies absorb calcium from the foods we eat or the supplement we take. The brisk walk puts a demand on our lungs and our muscle to increase our intake of oxygen; when the body is refuels with fresh oxygen it helps us to function better. If your at work and just sitting there typing the same old papers over and over; you become bored; take your break with a friend, discuss some fun and adventurous, you get back to work with a renewals sense of energy.

Having a healthy snack is always an option, it is said that eating one apple provides a better boast than an eight-ounce cup of coffee.

A mid afternoon snack of carrots, celery, broccoli can also get you going, just snack as you work; helps to pass the time as well. At work, if two girls take their breaks and lunch together, where they get to chitchat, laugh and socialize; by doing this we tend to use our senses, while talking allows us to bring in fresh oxygen and exhale toxics within our body that can make you feel sluggish.

Make sure you drink plenty of water, not ice tea or fruit juice; but water, water helps the body get rid of toxins, that can slow the body down.
