Mine was. It completely destroyed my world when my trust in my partner was broken. It was fundamental to my concept of a relationship. Trust, affection, loyalty. Now I have nothing. I am sad and cannot get the willpower to do anything, see anyone or motivate myself. This is what people do to each other. Why can't they be faithful to their word? Trust can be broken. Mine was.
