Carry on with my Wayward Son
What will you do with that your wayward son? You can change him!
“He is totally wayward and will never heed to advice or encouragement, but he is mine, so I have no other alternative than to bear and keep him. He is more like a cross and I have to bear my cross no matter what happen, the pain, burden and shame I must continue to bear”. That is the cry of a mother of a wayward child and this make me start wondering if he will ever change because of the fact that his mother is determined to “bear” not to “change”.
Even a waste bin can be returned to its original neat state and no matter how black the charcoal, it still has some usefulness. I realize that “erasing the waywardness” of a wayward child is like washing the brain with “bleach” in the physical, yet it is still not impossible! There is always a way even where there seems to be total obstruction.
Rather than bear the pains, change it. It’s not yet ripe to take “NO” for an answer, go ahead and change the kid, remember, “You can if you think you can”.
