I just want to scream for a while at the insanity of the world.  I keep wondering what happened to the middle of the road.  Everyday I see examples of people who want to contribute to our society but because they fit in the middle they don’t. For instance I met up with a woman who wants to go back into law but hasn’t been able to find a middle ground to still contribute but still see her kids on a consistent basis.  According to what she tells me that isn’t possible in law.  My question is why?  Why aren’t we including more people into the workforce that can and will contribute more than what we are getting now?  We need them but they don’t feel wanted or needed so they don’t contribute.  As a society we used to believe that the middle of the road was a valuable place to be.  Now all I ever hear or see are sixty second sound bites stating their opinion and good luck if you don’t agree.  The middle of the roaders have been silenced for too long.  We must stand up and state our beliefs in order to ensure that we don’t end up edged out of society looking in.  Please start today, this minute, this second, and involve your children, grandchildren to make a conscious choice to be a responsible citizens.
