Did You Feel Defeated Yesterday? Conquer This Feeling
A motivational article.
Did you felt defeated yesterday? Conquer the feeling.
I am writing for all those who felt defeated yesterday, day before, some days back or any time in their life. I know it’s very difficult to overcome, I know this too that many people will come and show sympathy and will say few words of motivation and will leave. But if you all are thinking I will also write the same stuff here, then my friend you are wrong.
All of you who faced defeat may be in class, on sports ground, on stage or in office or any other place; I am here to appreciate you all. Believe me I am not mocking at you, I am actually appreciating you.
You are far better than those people who did not turned up for the fear of loosing. They did everything right to reach to the aim but when the time for final show came, they lost, they lost to their heart, they did not listen to their mind, they played with all those people’s sentiments who have expectations with them. Compare yourself with them, don’t you think you gave your best and then lost. Don’t think you failed, just think that the other person was just a little better than you, and next time when you will get time you will prove that you are no less than that person. My main aim is to tell you to remove the word “defeat” from your dictionary, now with that I don’t mean that you loose everything to reach to success, what I mean is that this time you were little less then the other person but next time you will achieve your target with your hard work.
There are many stories of success like this in which people tried and tried and they failed, but then they did not give up, they continue fighting and finally they succeed.
Not going far, I will tell you a simple story from where I learnt. In India, there is a management entrance test called CAT i.e. common Admission Test, succeeding in which will open your doors to the elite INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT (IIM’s) for MBA. The cut off that is taken by these institutes range between 99%tile-100%tiles. I will tell you the story of a guy little senior to us. He took cat twice and couldn’t score more than 25%tile, although he was first class graduate. Someone advice him to take coaching, he joined in our batch. Time for the mock test came as the CAT was near, their also he failed every time, he took around 30 mock test but did not go beyond 50%tile, still he seemed a very satisfied person. We friends for whom it was first attempt were very worried on our scores.
