Dog Poo on The Beach?

You need a spade and a shovel and a few diggers (people or digger machines.. you choose)

First find a suitable place for your castle, where the sea will not reach in a hurry.

Dig up some sand and put it in a huge pile. Shape the sand into the shape of the castle with your hands. You can of course make a moat like thing around it to catch the water from destroying it. You can make all sorts of shapes like dog poop shape castle, or heart shaped castle, or ice cream cone castle, or phone shaped castle, or maybe even a wave shaped castle if you are feeling very adventurous or artistic.

When you have completed your castle design why not decorate it with stuff your find lying around, for example sea weed, sea shells, dog poo (only joking), pebbles, jelly fish (seriously), sticks, the little umbrellas you get in drinks and ice creams, dead birds (sea gulls are best) <– (Only joking again), Lolly pop sticks, banana skins, tyres (preferably not being used), sun glasses, maybe even your spade, if you cannot find anything else lying around.

Remember that every castle must have a flag so yours must not be an exception. Buy or make your own flag and mount it on the highest point/ points. To make a flag all you need is a scrape of paper and a stick (varying in size according to the size of your castle, a small castle with a huge flag would like slightly out of place!)

When you are finished you should take a lot of photos to show off to all your friends. Remember to station troops around the castle just in case any unruly pedestrians try to walk over/run over/jump on/squish (generally destroy) your masterpiece. Also motorists tend to try and rampage over your work of art, so a few rocket launchers wouldn’t hurt (well not you any way)!
