You may have already shared with others how you feel about being a wife, husband, parent, employee, or friend. Behind your back, some may pray for you, talk about you, or hope things will get better for you.

You feel this way, because you don’t like the choices you have made. The children came too soon, the man wasn’t what you had in mind, the woman you married changed drastically, the job wasn’t what you expected, and your friends aren’t available anymore.

If your husband or wife told you they were leaving the relationship, you would make the time to talk with them, wouldn’t you? If someone told you that your favorite sports team was playing at an arena and they had good seats, you would make the time to attend the game, wouldn’t you? People are only as busy as they choose to be, so the first thing you need to do is clear some space in your schedule to tend to the things that bother you the most. Is it your job? Look for opportunities within the organization to advance. Children driving you crazy? Take time for yourself to find out what you need to do to settle them and your nerves down.
