Don’t Stereotype People

It is about how people judge other people by their looks.

There are all sorts of people in this world and it is a shame on how many people stereotype people in groups. You have the small people who are short in statue. Then there is the medium or average people who are just so-so. They also look at fat people or large overweight people as fat and lazy.  We also have the hadicapped and mentally challenged people who are set aside as throwbacks or ignored.  We should not judge a person by their cover and how they are made but rather who they are inside.

It is a shame that we put people in catagories instead of seeing them for who they are.  You take the small people in this world and you see them like kids and think they can do much.  We try to overlook them just because they are small.  Small people can do things too and they will go overboard trying to please or prove it.  The average peron is no one special but just the person who is just so-o to the ather person and they don’t stand out for any reason.  When you look at a overweight person you see them as lazy and pigs.  They are often looked at and made fun of for all the wrong reasons.  We can pass up a handicapped person or one who is challenged and think they can’t do anything.  Well with the proper training they can but no one really wants to take the time.  It cost money and time and our lives are too busy.

A lot of individules are judged of their looks and not by talent. They are passed up by not only business but potential friends because they are different. Some people take time to make fun of them or size them up and make them feel badly about how they are. Yes in business you want the pretty faces there and the smart people but did you ever consider the ones you hire may not be the best to promote what it is you are trying to sell.

Thin people in some cases can’t gain weight no matter what they do or eat. Some heavy people may try to loose but are not sucessful.  The handicapped person is made that way and it is not their fault.  When we stereotype we pass judgement on those people and there is only one real judge and that is God.  God made them that way and if it were that way you would want the same respect and consideration.  I use to make fun of my aunt who was fat and believe me it can come back to haunt you later.  Every time you make fun of someone or find yourself too good to be with “those people” you stereotyped and passed over for what ever the reason and it will some day come back to you in some way or another.

Don’t stereotype people but accept them for who they are and try to see the good they have and whaqt good they can contribute to your life.  Blessings come into many packages and if you pass it up, you might find that you passed a jewel and never knew it and you might loose a lot.  A diamond in the rough may be standing in front of you and you may not know it unless you take the time to get to see the insides of that person instead of the outward package.
