Fiction writers often have day jobs, families, and other hobbies. In the midst of all this distraction, they often fail to make time for the most important thing of all: writing. To become published and achieve your writing goals, you must set daily word count goals and meet them every day.

Writing Goal #2 – Time line for a Project

After you get an idea for a new writing project, you should give yourself a time line for finishing that writing project. This means that you will make the writing goal that you will finish your story’s first draft in a month, or a novel in a year.
