Eight Tips – How to Stay Cool
Life can be stressful and demanding. How many times a day do you want to run away and hide? Drive all the way to the beach, have a binge, take a nap or enjoy a moment of silence with your coffee and cigarette.

Would you just leave me alone? – you scream in your heart. But they won’t. You are a valuable worker, a devoted friend, a loyal spouse… You’re just too good.
Slent desparation piles up in your heart, creeping through your mind and laying there like a heavy burden. Dull routine, gloomy mornings, cold evenings. When was the last time you looked up at the sky? But instead of making it easier you keep rolling on sacrifying you time, your virtues… your soul.
Then one day it all comes out. Splashes of rage and violent fury outbreak like crazy fireworks, their eruption is getting out of hand. Moments later you are exhausted, indifferent and squeezed out. Trying to put yourself together you drive to the beach, take a nap, or enjoy a moment of silence with your coffee and cigarette.
Nervous breakdown is just one way of getting what you want. But the price you pay is too high. Is it really necessary to throw your life away like that?
Learn to control yourself, take breaks and forget about life for a while. You’ll see that the effort is small and the reward is your mental balance!
#1 – Be aware. Notice the very sprouts of self-frustration, before it can be felt, touched or tastesd. Recognizing the first signs will help you deal with it more effectively. Listen to your heart, watch your speech, analyze your moves.Ask yourself questions.
#2 – Sleep. Insufficient sleeping hours reduce our resistance to life constraints, whatever they are. Your body needs its dose – why keep yourself deprived?
#3 – Don’t hurry up your life – chasing, trying to get it here and now, not stopping for a single moment. Faster, faster, faster!.. Sounds familiar? Too bad. This is about time to take five, and think that everything in this world has its price. Could it be that you are overpaying?
#4 – “All work and no play…” – remember what happened to poor, old Jack? Don’t let it get you too! Play, drive to the beach, have your drink and sleep, sleep, sleep. Keeping the golden balance between work is leisure is a skill you’ll need to learn. Start your training now!
#5 – Talk. Pour your heart out. Whatever bothers you, don’t keep it to yourself. It will make its way out sooner or later in a more painful way. Things just don’t “stay there” forever or “vanish” too. By sharing your burden with another person, you halve it.

#6 – “Do I lift weights? Sure. Every time I stand up.” (Dolly Patron). Lift, hit, run and jump. Whatever. Just don’t sit there all day like a vegetable, accumulating pounds and negative emotions all in one.
#7 – Get yourself a hobby. Not a hobbyhorse, but something that will keep you engaged and enthusiastic. It can be anything, from snappling to enthomology.
#8 – Learn to think positively. Our world is full of negative news and events, don’t let them sink into your head. Watch comedies instead. Naturally, this is a real world and you can’t simply hide away by ignoring and denying issues that matter. But don’t let unnecessary stuff penetrate your mind. Be selective in what you watch and read.
Each person has his unique ways to take control over his sparkling emotions. There is always place to share your tips and learn from the experience of others’. As long as it works.
