Erotic Dreams
Have you ever had an erotic dream? How did you feel about it the first time? Upset? Ashamed? Or did you secretly enjoyed it?
If you go around and ask people if they had an erotic dream once, most of them will either ignore you or say that they haven’t. Come on, be honest, I’m sure that we all have had erotic dreams. Dreams where we make love with our partner, but sometimes even with someone else, like a classmate, a stranger or maybe your best friend. In our erotic dreams we experience situations that would normally be embarrassing to talk in public. It doesn’t feel comfortable to talk about it with your family or friends, afraid that they laugh at you or have weird impressions on you. Nonetheless, these dreams are actually quite enjoyable and during your sleep, you want them to last forever. When we wake up, we usually wake up with a very excited feeling.
When you wake up, you might feel ashamed, timid or even upset because you cannot believe what you just dreamed about. However, there is no such need to feel like that because erotic dreams are completely normal. Every woman eventually will dream about such things, moreover, men tend to have erotic dreams more often compared to women. It sounds pretty logical if you realize that sex is a much more dominant factor in a man’s life in comparison to a woman’s life.
Most of the times, erotic dreams are about our very own erotic fantasies. During the day, we are aware of our own actions; we are rational and have natural instincts so we stay under control so to speak. However, during our sleep, our sub-consciousness takes over our daily control. Since sex belongs to one of the strongest drifts in human life, it is rather normal that this element occurs in our dreams. To conclude, an erotic dream is nothing to be ashamed of.
Furthermore, erotic dreams are pleasant, learn to accept them, appreciate it. Tell them to your partner, or just try to enjoy it when you think back to it. Trust me, when you learn to value it, it will give you some extra energy for the rest of your day and it makes you feel sexy. What you never should do when having an erotic dream, is to deduce a conclusion which should not be necessarily true.
An erotic dream about making love with your ex-partner does not directly conclude that you still like him. Besides, it can mean something else such as making you realize that your current relationship does not satisfy your sexual desires, or maybe it can means that you want revenge and show him how good you are in bed (which is a pretty awful reason though). Another example could be erotic dreams where your own partner plays a role, most likely, this demonstrate a happy, successful and stable relationship with your partner. Dreams about having sex with a female does not necessarily mean that you’re lesbian, but it can be an indication of your need for love and tenderness. Sometimes, the woman in your dreams can stand for the feminine sexuality that you’re searching for.

Thus, erotic dreams are often a reflection of your real life, if you are intensively in love, then the feeling of sexual desires are coming more forth and this can result in an erotic dream during sleep. However, on the other hand, it can also mean that you are not satisfied with the current status in your relation. You might try to deny it, but the best proof for it, are the erotic dreams full of desires. Mostly, dreams are about something you wish for it, or about something you actually already posses and are extremely excited about.
