Escape The Hassle of Running Errands After Work
Learn how to get out of having to run errands after work.
Are you stuck with the hassle of running errands after spending the day at your job all of the time? Spending the day working is enough work and it should not be supplemented with running errands too much. You will learn steps you can take to free yourself from running errands after work.
The first step you can take to free yourself from running errands after work is to get a life. What person in his or her right mind constantly runs errands after working hard all day, especially if the errands are not too important? If you are addicted to running errands, it is imperative for you to think hard about your priorities and make sure you spend your free time doing highly important things and being with your family and friends. If you skip running your errands today, life will go on.
Another thing you can do to free yourself from running errands after work is to ask your family members to do it themselves. A good defense you mount could say, “Why do you think it is fair for me to run your errands every day? I work my rear off for eight hours and do not need the extra hassle that comes with doing an extra load of work once I leave the confines of my cubicle. Can you please do it yourself a lot more often?”
Another remedy is to say no sometimes. You should not be a pushover; furthermore, there are days when you must unwind or do more important things than running errands after spending the day at work. In fact, you will have more time to spend with your family if you are not always doing errands.
Consider putting your foot down by refusing to run errands anymore. You might have to tell those who always ask or expect you to do their errands, “Enough is enough. I’m not running errands anymore.”
Try to find a convenient time to run errands. It would probably be practical to do errands while going out to eat on your lunch hour rather than doing it after work when you probably do not have the mindset or will to do anything but hurry up and get home.
Let someone help you out with running errands. Consider hiring an assistant, if you can afford to do so.
Try to reach a compromise. For example, you can make an arrangement with your significant other that says the two of you will alternate doing the errands.
Use these ideas to free yourself from running errands after work!

Some people work two jobs just to keep food on the table, and have to run errands after work…just a thought!

Well running errands will always be a problem for me unless I hire additional help, and trust me I’ve had to do this pretty often. Seems like there is never enought time in the day.
