Fait Accompli: 2009 Help List

That’s what 2008 is, fait accompli. An interstice of time never to be again, except in thoughts and memories, and for I and you, many, many lessons learned.

And so, with the irenic spirit of 2009’s first day, I will enumerate as best I can, the lessons of heart, mind and soul that I have learned so perhaps none of us will ever have to pule over the little things, which are undoubtedly important but only as a gauge that the journey to the top of the steep and distant mountain is the “Everest” of all! Numerically, each one will be #1, for every grain of it matters…

1. It takes courage to fall in love, but it takes even greater courage to allow the one you love, to love you back.
2. Allow not a tear to fall for your losses, for it is in having what you had, that you should be grateful for.
3. Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at will most certainly change.
4. Speak from the heart; share from the mind; sing and dance from the soul!
5. Listen to the work that was placed in your heart and be of service to it and do it well.
6. Share the photographs of your heart, mind and soul and let the camera keep clicking!
7. Let the tears and hurt be instruments of forgiveness rather than instruments of revenge and hate.
8. The further away one is in distance from you, know that they are closer to you in spirit; cultivate the distance, for time passes by in haste and waits for naught.
9. Remember that having fear only rustles up the unknown even more.
10. There’s an old saying that says “embrace life”…but I say, let it go so it can be free to just be its own magnificence.
11. Have the courage to be silent and truly listen from your heart, mind and soul; and then just be as courageous to let the contents trumpet out for the world to hear!
12. Be grateful, period!
13. Be happy, period!

And most important of all, help at least one person in 2009!

1: I will help rather than judge a homeless 17 year old mother – provide housing.

2: I will leave at least 1 comment for each new blogger that I come across for feedback and encouragement.
