Fear
by The very thing we allow to control us.
Why do we do what we do? People do things and don’t do things all because of one thing, fear, and that one thing could compel you to jump and act on a moments notice. If your fear is death you won’t take risks or chances at anything that could lead to that outcome. Fear of letting someone down motivates you to excel and prevent such a thing from happening. Even the fear of being cheated on by a lover keeps you from seeking out those who appear that they would do that very thing. There are fears for everything in life from decisions to actual material things. They make us do things without even thinking consciously and we just act, so take some time to sit and realise your fears, are they worth what your going through? Would your life improve with or without them? Would it make you stronger or weaker? Do you have suffering attached with them? Can you relinquish it along with this subtle little program in the back of your brain?
Control over oneself is impossible unless you understand yourself, understanding yourself is a feat not possible over short term, but the more you understand the more you have the power over. Living in fear is a life controlled by everything but yourself, don’t let something or someone control you because you are your own possession and you should make yourself happy with your decisions and ways of life. The pursuit of happiness is your right as a member of the U.S. and as a human being no matter where you live, so do what makes you happy and be happy, don’t let fear stop you.
Before you act, think to yourself, what are you afraid of? And if you figure that out ask yourself why should you be afraid of that, is it really something to be s afraid of? And then overcome that fear and take life up by the neck and call it your own. It is yours and no one else’s, fear is your illusion that causes chaos and turmoil within your delusional life that makes you prey. Become the predator and choose your own fate. After all, your life is yours and no one else’s, not even fear’s to decide. So don’t let it.
