Five Effective Tips for You to Stop Thinking About Your Ex

If you just recently broken up or for many months but then you cannot stop thinking about him/her, you should try a new way. What you’re doing isn’t working and you’re not moving on. Take these five effective tips to stop thinking about your ex.

Let me tell you that most people who have tried dating or relationship has tried getting hurt or even get broken hearted at the end of the relationship. But it is inevitable, especially if you’re not for each other so why force it? Why grasp for the people who are not meant for you? The good news, you can do ways to stop thinking about them.

a.) Focus more about yourself with frequent thoughts of you and not about him or her. Do you like to do things or watch movies, concerts that you never did before because she/he doesn’t want you to? This is the time to do these things for you.  Think about things that are about you. Is it hard? Of course at first it is but everything should be done repeatedly to be able to form a habit. Instead of thinking, where is she/he? What is she/he eating? Is she/he thinking about me? Forget about these questions and start asking and talking about the things you want, what I would eat in dinner tonight? What is my favorite NFL team? What is the best movie I should watch on the weekend? The more you do it the more you would focus about you and free yourself from the dependence thought of him or her/

b.) Date out – I meant date out not necessarily become intimate. Dating out increases your confidence and help you get back to what you were before the relationship. You’ll be surprise how you can make people tick.  Don’t get intimate yet because you do not know how you feel. You have to let go of the thoughts of your ex before starting a new one.

c.) Avoid things that remind you of her/him – there are many things to visit and do instead of going to familiar places. Get lost if you want. Throw things that could remind you of her or him. Surround yourself with everything new since you are living a fresh new start.

d.) Surround yourself with positive, funny people – sense of humor is one of the best qualities of a best buddy. When you laugh you tend to forget things and problems at home. It’s more effective than excessive drinking. So socialize with your friends or new friends whom you think are sensible, funny, and talkative or share the same views or fun as you.

e.) Face your grief and let go – you need to accept that you’re through. And you have to face it and stop wishing for the come back or getting back your ex. Trust me, it would do more harm than doing good. If you are totally over the person all the resentments vanish, you can start a new relationship with your ex or a new person. So wait for the right time or just let go and accept the things and face a new life.
