Five Quick Time Savers

Let’s face it, we’re always busy and rushed and always looking for a few tips to save time. Here are just a few quick ways you can save time during your busy day.

  1. Keep cheat sheets close at hand. No, I don’t mean cheat sheets for school work, but if you can’t remember a certain zip code or frequently used phone number or address, write it down and post it inside your desk for a quick reference.
  2. Be prompt at getting tasks done; don’t put them off. You’ll be amazed at how quickly things will go.
  3. Group tasks together. If you need to pay bills, or send bills, do it all in one sitting. It will go much smoother and quicker than stopping and doing something else and returning.
  4. If you don’t have time to do everything yourself, don’t feel bad about asking for help. If you have extra cash, you can pay someone to run errands for you or do chores at home that you just can’t manage to get around to.
  5. Try fixing meals ahead of time. Yes, you can do that! You can even choose one day to cook, and then freeze the meals. Or you can chop certain veggies ahead of time; marinate all the night before a meal.

With just a little planning, what once was chaotic can be calm again! Just plan ahead and prepare and before you know it, it’s all done!
