Five Rules to Live by

We all want to live and we are always looking for motivational things in our life. We want things that inspire us and make us feel better or work harder as a person.

1. Set goals

The first step is clearly defining what it is you’re after, because knowing that, you’ll never get it.

2. Believe in your ability

There have been so many people who have said to me, “You can’t do that, but I’ve had an innate belief that they were wrong. Be unwavering and relentless in your approach.”

3. Go about it with integrity

You have to speak the truth and mean what you say, but be mindful and respectful of other people. Don’t step on toes.

4. Have humility

Don’t take yourself too seriously. Know when to laugh at yourself, and find a way to laugh at the obstacles that inevitably present themselves.

5. Be flexible

If you set out to do something and you give it your all and it doesn’t work out, be willing to modify your goal slightly. Have the ability to look I another direction. A small shift could guide you to the real purpose of your life.

Really great rules to live by!
I already live by some of these. I think the “believe in your ability” is very important. You have to have selfconfidece and believe in your self. If you don’t you’ll never reach your goals in life.

Truly good rules to live by, but I guess you should add another one, and this should be first on the list– ‘Have God as your partner, in each task you will undergo”.

I’ve had people say this too… “You can’t do that…” But I’ve always said “I can!” — and when we say “I can!” — this is true —just as it is if we say “I can’t”. And the thing is, if I CAN, then anyone CAN!
