Five Tips to Overcoming the Boring Summer
Five Tips to overcoming that horribly boring summer.
I get really bored in summer without anything to do. Here are some tips to help you avoid that.
- Write articles on Triond is one of the best methods to overcome boredom that I have ever encountered. What could be more fun than entertaining and informing the great writers of the world?
- Read articles on Triond. There’s a lot you can learn from reading everything you can and if you get absorbed enough, you won’t be bored anymore! Hundreds and hundreds of articles! If you don’t like reading, you wouldn’t be reading this so.. this should work for everyone here!
- Play sports indoors! Go to that YMCA you’ve been meaning to. Basketball, wall climbing, etc, etc. If you aren’t the athletic type, play pool! Everyone likes pool! I’m not sure if your YMCA is the same, but ours has a game room, with arcades, and pool, and stuff like that. The bonus is that you’ll be healthier.
- Play board games with kids. Thats always entertaining. My little brother always used to try to win at anymeans possible… good times. Play chess, or Othello, or … pin the wheel on the donkey or something. There are lots of different bored games that aren’t boring.
- Curl up with a good book. Go to your local library site. I’ve written another article on how to find good books, just fyi, titled: 5 Tips to find a Good Read. So you can use that to help you.

Great article! – chalk paintings are another great thing to do, as are building castles in the sand, and building birdhouses, too.
Kids are better at doing these things than we adults are.
