Five Ways to Stay Stress-Free

A couple ways to get rid of stress.

 Life getting too complicated for you? Always stressing? Ya, your not the only one.

Stressing is very negative for people, especially the elderly. In many cases, stress gets very serious and can affect you and your body’s health. In the following, I have put together a list that helps me in getting ridding of my stress. You never know, it may help you too.

  • Try eating something you really enjoy. Such as something sweet and pleasing. Don’t have it at home? Get out and buy it! You need to treat yourself. Chocolate works best. ;]
  • Take a hot bath. Soak up in a tub for an hour and two and shut yourself away from the outside world. Close your eyes and just rest.
  • Do yoga! Many people consider yoga to be “a waste of time” because it “doesn’t make you feel better”. This actually isn’t true because yoga has been voted the #1 stress relief method. So why not give it a shot?
  • Read a good book. Find a classic novel, cuddle up in a private reading area, and get lost in the book.
  • Gather up a bunch of close friends and have a movie night. Watch a Chick Flick [for girls]. Watch an action movie [for guys].
