Freedom, Peace, Progress, & Prosperity
We’re still within the topic of happiness and success…but this part is specifically about the following ingredients: freedom, peace, progress, and prosperity.
We’re still within the topic of happiness and success. Among the essential ingredients applicable to many would be freedom, peace, progress, and prosperity.
Every person is a unique human being with a mixture of preferences. For as long as his way of living is not harmful to other people, directly or indirectly, he is entitled to his share of responsible freedom. Experiences will eventually guide each one to a fruitful destiny, provided those experiences will fail to make a person resort to the negative extreme. You are FREE to be who you want to be. Someday, our world will improve. Governments will facilitate the progress of most citizens towards realizing destinies. We learn from the Scriptures that not all will be saved . But those who live by faith in God, Lord of Righteousness, can realize their dreams come true. It begins with the proper use of freedom. Many will ask what is the way to a wonderful and fruitful life. Education is the usual way. But education about the truth is superior to any other kind. I believe in the accurate education about the Holy Bible as a solid foundation to the teachings about righteousness and life. Other religions have their own. However, when an inter-faith congregation of scholars look into similarities and differences, a common understanding and set of beliefs become obvious.
People believe in the right to live and the virtues of doing good, rejecting evil since evil leads to troubles and death. Righteous people want peace aside from freedom. Most of the great accomplishments that man can do are possible and worthwhile if the world gives peace a lasting chance. Without peace, we would be like playing with Sand Castles that will stand but for a short while; like endangered species waiting to be victimized by some freaks who enjoy explosions here and there; or perhaps like summary executioners who accidentally axed the lives of innocent people amongst criminals.
We all long for progress and prosperity. If today there are few responsible leaders with the unselfish minds and hearts that strive to reach for the greater majority of fellowmen, sometime in the future, there will be many more magnanimous people and organizations of people worldwide who will strive to care for almost all of mankind. Education can be made accessible without cost for the masses. Televisions and computers can someday announce that courses are free for those who watch TV or have access to the internet, although the people will have to find time to regularly attend FREE lessons one after another until an educational course is finished. And those who are ready may take national tests of achievements. Why not ? Producers can invest hundreds of millions of dollars just to make a specific movie very entertaining. Do we need that much just to program one or even a hundred different courses ? One production can be used for one schoolyear after another.
