Getting the Job of Your Dreams: How to be Successful on a Job Interview

Do you really want that job? How do you get it?

What do employers want and look for in an employee? One of the things they look for is dependability. They want to make sure that an employee will stick around for awhile and that they live close by to where they are going to work.

Employers want honesty and want an employee to be open to constructive criticism. They want the employee to be courteous and have the ability to work well with people.

How do I know if I have these qualities? Am I really going to get that job that I want so badly? How do I remain confident in the interview, and what do employers ask?

They usually ask h0ow the potential employee heard about the job opening, and if they knew anyone who works for the employer. They’ re looking for the potential employee to be interested in what the company does, and really are waiting for questions to be asked about the company. Silly ha? Not really. Potential employees need to research where they want to work, and ask intelligent questions in regard to the company they want to work for. Not only does it show interest concerning the company— but it gives the employer an invisible pat on the back regarding the company they are attempting to promote and hire for. It makes much sense that an employer would be apt to hire someone who asked many questions about the company, and showed interest also.
