Goal Setting 101
Setting and achieving your goals.
Writing down your goals actually makes them easier to go about and keeps you motivated and focused.
How to set yourself goals:
- Think up- On a piece of paper jot down any ideas you have for goals. Set your goals around what is important to you such as education, health, finance, travel etc.
- Review- Now take a second look at what you just wrote down and cut it down to what really matters to you.
- What, When, How and Why: For each of your goals ask yourself those four questions. Note down your answers somewhere.
- Baby Steps- Once you know what your goals are you need to take each goal and break it down into manageable baby steps. This makes sure you stay motivated and don’t slack off.
- Write It Out- On a piece of paper write out your goals neatly and clearly and stick it somewhere you’ll always see it.
- Visualize- The final, but not least most important step is to visualize. Pretend that you have already achieved your goals. Visualize your goals over and over.
