Got a Temper?
What to do to control your anger.
Just about everyone has a temper and it shows in certain situations. During those times tempers can be caused by annoyance, people who have done you wrong or hurt you in some way. Controlling your temper is a good trait that isn’t easy to master. For example if you were to get into a fight your temper would cloud your judgment in what hand to hand combat skill to use next. And some people don’t know that there temper is affecting there lives or family members in a dramatic way until its to late. And there is a good percentage of divorces caused by uncontrollable tempers every year.
A good thing to do when you feel the urge to scream at somebody is to be better then that. Take a step back, go for a walk, take a drive, talk to a friend or family member, and these things will calm you down. If you can’t avoid getting into a fight then stay calm while your fighting so you can concentrate on a way to overpower your opponent. And sometimes its ok to back down from a fight. Cause if you suspect that the person or people have a weapon of some sort. Then if possible put as much distance away from them as possible. If this is not possible then the sad fact is your going to get hurt. So study up on how to protect yourself from those that carry weapons and such. Like maybe take some kind of martial arts. And it can be as little as just a couple of nights a week. So at least you will be prepared when the time comes to defend yourself against those that want to hurt you. And taking martial arts of any kind doesn’t make it ok to go out and start fights. Only use your trained skills in tournaments and to protect yourself when necessary. It’s like those karate movies you watch or did watch. Most of the master martial artists on those movies wait for there opponents to strike first before they deliver there devastating blows. So remember my article when you feel like screaming or getting into a fight with someone.
