Happiness: The Keys To a Fulfilled Life
Leading to a more contented and happy life…
Most people are as happy as they make their minds to be. – Abrahim Lincoln.
What is happiness? Contentment from within, a sense of fulfillment from the bottom of your heart. Enjoying every bit of the life you are living. A persona with high levels of self esteem, confidence not getting disturbed by negative remarks, a very stable well balanced mind. A very practical, ambitious person not bothered by the pessimism around.
According to an international world-wide survey amongst 178 countries the happiest country in the world is Denmark.USA stands 23RD, UK – 41St and India 125TH in its rank. In Cuba, the people believe that they don’t have much to buy so instead they build relationships. “We are not a consumer market, but a relational market”.
It is very important not to get into the philosophy of life, what is the very purpose of your existence, why do we have to die? What happens after I die? Because the meaning of existence, and the answers to all these questions lie in experiencing life and not in its philosophy. Fear, delusion, cravings, and attachments all these factors have to tackle in the right manner to live happily.
Having said all this, I do also believe that it is very crucial for every person to know himself or herself very closely. Be focused; know exactly what one wants out of life. Set your goals, choose the right path and you will keep getting success on the way. One should have the purpose to life and expressions of creativity. Find meaning to life, make people happy, and relate experiences of cautiousness. Though some discontent is required to keep the expressions of creativity alive.
The main issue always revolves around me or I. All the time it is about my problems, my thoughts, my life, and my circumstances. So the first step is to keep silent, because silence can quiten the internal dialogue, stop the chatter within. Instead think of making others happy.
So to start with, a daily dose of silence is necessary. Last but not the least; you cannot get happiness from any book or this article, but from your own experiences, your own will power, stability. Make a difference, add worth to your life and you would see a change.
