Help for the Shy Person
Is your shyness preventing you from enjoying life, making friends or achieving success in work or school? Then read on and find out out how you can help yourself.
Always try to look presentable. The explanation for this is quite logical. If you are dressed properly on every occasion, then there will be much, much less for you to worry. Practice good hygiene and seek help especially if you have problems with your teeth or body odor.
Do not try to please everybody. The answer is because you never can. Do not give yourself added stress. As long as you are acting properly, you do not have to worry if other people like your dress, your hair or the sound of your voice.
Smile and say a simple hi! It’s an easy way to feel happier and make friends. You do not need to be a “hand-pumping extrovert’ to gain valuable friends. All you really need is to be sincere and welcoming. Some people may not react kindly if you show them kindness but realize that it’s their issue and not yours. Do not be afraid that people may reject your friendship or not reply hello. You are not losing anything by being friendly and nice.
You are more than what you look like. Too many of us give so much undue attention to our appearances, to the point of obsession. You are a person, and a person is physical, emotional and spiritual. Remember that God weighs you by what is in your heart, not by how you look like.
There are a lot more ways to conquer your shyness but it all starts with realizing your inner value. Use your capabilities. Be open to criticism and do not take everything personally. Appraise yourself but be careful not to overdo things and end up being proud.
If you feel that you are abnormally shy and your shyness is affecting your activities of living, then be honest and tries seeking help. Try confiding in a trusted friend or parent. You may also consult a psychologist; this is a perfectly healthy and good option. Be positive about yourself and life in general.

I think its good to think of way to overcome your shyness.
