Hope for Tomorrow

Life’s blossoming up faster than our thoughts. You can either sit back and relax or grab the opportunities that are waiting with open hands. As in the real world you have to decide what is wrong or what is right.

During the college days all of you weave dreams for your future along with your friends. But when you all step out to the real world all the paths may diverge to various directions. You may have your own fears, some big some small but you have to strive for your dreams. You will have to stand confidently in front of test of time and put all your efforts to pursue your dreams.

As Aristotle said ‘The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet’. I want to share an advice that my grandfather gave me when I graduated. He took me to our garden in the backyard of our house and pointed me to a mango tree. He asked me whether I enjoy the sweet mangoes from the tree. I was amused by his question and said yes. He told me that he had plated that tree a long time ago when he was a kid and today his grandchildren enjoy its fruits and even the future generation will enjoy it. He told me that now as I have graduated and will step ahead and start earning I should not forget to sow the seeds of the fruits that I will earn so that the coming generations will enjoy its fruits. Hence I should spend my hard earned money wisely as well as invest for the future.  

At this stage it is easy to get lured by the good illusion of the world. Once you start earning you tend to spend it lavishly without considering the security for your future. It is always beneficial to take advice from someone who is very adept as the person from his experience will be able to rightly guide you for a safe future.

You all stand at the cusp of your respective fortunes – where you can take charge of your lives and script your own future.
