How Colour Can Change Your Image: Grey Part 10
Get that professional look in Grey.
Every time I saw grey colours, it always gives me the idea of being formal and authoritative. Good attires especially in doing a business. So when I’m into a job interview, meeting prospective clients, I always choose this colour for professionalism appeal.
How Grey colour affects our image?
Grey – it conveys traits such as being respectable, balanced, calm, serene, versatile, non-committal, deceptive and uncertain.
When to Use Grey
- In business, grey is the safest option. Although less authoritative than black or navy, grey still present a smart, professional look without making too much of a statement.
- When teamed up with strong colour accents such as red, violet or salmon. This projects innovation and creativity while still being professional-looking.
- When being interviewed for a job.
- When negotiating as arbitrator in ay sort of dispute.
- When wishing to project a balanced ad unbiased attitude.
When to Avoid Grey
- When in gatherings where you want to be noticed.
- If you are in the creative field.
- When on dates which you hope will lead to marriage. Grey may convey that you are not interested.
- When working with children. Grey usually makes children anxious.
- When you need to make things happen.
Feel free to add some dos and don’ts.
