How to Assure Your Success with Simple (but Not Necessarily Easy) Steps
Here are the secrets to beginning.
This isn’t just succeeding on the shoulders of others that are helping you make your own selfish gains by making their own selfish gains.
This is about having something to share that benefits others so everybody wins. Your product, service, or effort relieves their lives from stress. Makes it more fun. Teaches them something good. Lights a path to success.
It doesn’t matter how you serve others. Serve your family by working toward goals and success. Volunteer for a social agency or church. Take charge of a project.
You do this and your success is guaranteed.
Self help in success
You’d be surprised at how many people can’t define success.
Could be personal growth, making lots of money, winning a game, contract, war….
The point is you’ve got to understand what success is before you’re ever going to realize it. There’s got to be an objective. An achievement. A goal met.
If there isn’t then how will you know when you’re successful? Hmm?
Can you be happy without being successful? Sure but that begs the question “how do you know when you’re happy?”
This is really pretty simple stuff. Find a goal. Achieve it. Succeed. Do it some more.
Goals
What happens when you awaken from a dream? Fades fast doesn’t it?
Same thing with your life’s dreams – if you don’t write them down.
Now please do something for me. Go google “write down your goals”. I’ll wait….
There’s a pant load of stuff right? And they all say the same thing. Writing your goals down makes them happen. Hold on now…more correctly, writing them down frees you up and focuses you to take the action to get them done.
What makes them real is the work of daily edging toward them.
Always know where you are and what your objective is. The only way is to write your goals down, break them into smaller bits and finish them one by one. Guess what. Your self esteem and confidence will soar and that will catapult you to higher goals which will lead to…..success
Financial management
Financial mismanagement is the second largest reason people go bust.
Wouldn’t you like to win the lottery? C’mon now…haven’t you fantasized how cool it would be to calculate your money and distribute it in a controlled manner?
I have. Let’s see – 30 mil is about 18 mil after taxes. Ok that’s still enough. Got to take care of family and friends….say 5 mil. Pay off stuff – 300k. Still got lots of bread for toys. Oh yeah…need to invest.
Where’s this financial plan going to end? Time after time the winners become victims of their own inability to think like a money manager and they end up miserable.
Family and friends have their hands out and become resentful when you don’t fill them with cash. Why? Because you didn’t work for that money and you should share all of it.
Sudden wealth punishes those who will not or cannot make a strict financial plan and observe all the rules of markets and discretion. (ok…so I’d like to be punished too…)
Point is. I don’t care if you’re making 10k, 100k, or 1 mil a year. If you don’t budget and plan you’re not going to have it very long.
And guess what. That leads to stress which leads to crisis which leads to quitting your goals which leads to never ever being successful.
But the absolute number one killer of success is….
Not Taking Action!
Keeping motivated and not letting the everydays of life get in the way of your progress is key to achievement. Stay driven. Stay confident. Stay persistent. Stay informed. Take action.
