How to Become a World-class Expert in Anything in Six Weeks

Yes, it is entirely possible to become a world-class expert in anything in only six weeks. This is done by selecting a specific subject and is studying about it in at least three different textbooks. You will also have to read some of the associated papers on this specific subject. Once you have done all of this reading; develop a test for yourself on the subject.

Once you have taken this test do not stop there find out your weaknesses in the subject by the answers you gave. Anywhere in the test that shows where you are weak go back and restudy that part of the subject. Then retest yourself once again. Keep doing this retesting and reading until you are satisfied with the results.

This is an extremely powerful method of gaining useful knowledge about a subject with the advantage that you do not have to sit in a classroom. To do this you literally have to act as your own college. You are not only a pupil, but the professor, the dean of curriculum and the college president all wrapped up in one. Many people find this is difficult to accomplish but by applying yourself and concentrating on what you are doing it can be done.

One of the most successful people the author has ever met is living proof that this technique works. As a young boy he emigrated from Italy and the total amount of schooling he had was four months. He didn’t let this stop him though, although he wasn’t in school he spent his time reading everything he could. As a young man he became a multimillionaire based on knowledge he had gained by reading.

Most people who set forth to be educated don’t realize or know that you don’t have to go to college to gain a useful level of knowledge. A prize example of this is Abraham Lincoln who taught himself to be a lawyer by reading everything he could pertaining to this subject by the light from his home’s fireplace. He took notes by writing on the flat blade of a wooden snow shovel with a lump of charcoal. Lincoln went on to become the president of the United States and the Commander-in-Chief of the Union Army during the bloodiest war in the history of the United States.

Many of us feel inferior today if we are not well educated. What has been forgotten over time is the real meaning of the word educate. It is derived from the Latin words for “develop from within.” Education is not something that has to be fed into your brain by someone else. This is how the author actually gained his undergraduate degree from college; he did it by challenging the college to grant him credits by examination. The degree that he earned this way was in a very difficult subject, geology. In fact he actually got the degree with three majors’ geology, geography, and chemistry. He also had close to 40 credit hours beyond the requirements for a normal bachelor’s degree. This was done with zero classroom time using GRE advanced tests in the required subjects. And all three tests he acquired a score that was in the high 90s. These were actually scores that were actually higher than the full-time college students gained.

Many people have taken the same course to gather knowledge and the position in life that it brings. This has remained true through the ages and is just proof that anyone can become a world-class expert in any subject just by applying themselves.
