How to Build a Support System
This is on building a support system.
A support system can make a big difference in your life. If you have been living on your own for years and have run out of money from every source, you know how helpful it is to have some additional help. I used to live on my own and I know it’s not fun. You run out of money and you have no one to borrow it from. You run into a dead end pretty quickly. A support system can keep you floating when you’re near sinking. I moved home and it helps so much after living on my own for awhile. I have the support of my brothers and parents. My brother helped fix my car and that counts for something. If he didn’t help me, I couldn’t afford to fix my car. My parents pay the bills so I have more free time to work on other projects. If I had none of this help, I wouldn’t be able to do some of my work. This is why I don’t recommend students to live on their own with no support. I also don’t recommend them to burn their bridges with their parents so that they don’t have any help. A support system is vital to your success.
I noticed that some culture use their support system to the max and it helps them succeed in life. If you don’t use your support system then it’s time to use it. I noticed that most Americans move out when they turn 18 and share a room with someone else. It teaches them responsibility but it’s hard to be successful in school with little money and time on your side. You don’t have the resources that other people have and that are why you can be behind in life. This is why it’s very important to build and maintain a support system. A support system is where you can call upon people to help you out with your needs. This could be friends, family, neighbors, relatives, boyfriends or husbands. Any one that can help you in times of need is considered your support system.
If you don’t have a support system then it’s time to make one. You should try hard to maintain relationships so you can have a support system. It comes in handy sometimes. The most valuable support system that you have is your family. No one out there can help you like your family. They can provide you with financial assistance. Your friend might pick up your phone call but they might not lend you $300. They will not pay your hospital bills but they might visit you with some flowers. The most effective support system is your family. You should keep in good term with your family so you can get help from them when you need it. A support system is very important in time of difficulty or if you have a child and you need a babysitter. Grandparents are always there to help you out with babysitting or else you will be paying another $500 a month for baby sitting service. In a bad economy, you can always use some additional support. It’s healthy to go through life and have a support system.
