Our thoughts and constant repetition of the same thoughts over repeated period of time builds the platform for our actions. Though, there can be some dreamy individuals who always ride on the horse of day dreams and produce no actions but those are exceptions.
From, quit smoking, quit alcohol, workout, success at jobs, success in exams etc. all of these activities are somehow linked to our mind and will power.
These are some common failures when it is related to our thoughts and actions:
- Not able to quit smoking or alcohol.
- Distracted by other activities while trying to study for exams.
- Often breaking the chain of workout schedule.
Every task of perfection required involvement of your firm determination and mind and can only be cultivated by making your will power as a habit and not as a rare sight. Try controlling your mind and making it more determined with small but effective changes:
- Try to meditate everyday for 20-30 minutes avoiding any thoughts entering to your mind.
- Avoid speaking negative words or thoughts and always try to think positive.
- Prepare a chart of your daily schedule and keep on trying to stick to the schedule no matter what.
- Instead of being talkative keep your mind calm.
- Nature is a bliss and of great comfort to our mind and hence, try to visit beautiful places outside city.
The above activities have a slow but effective purpose as they try to exercise your mind and helps developing will power and control over your mind.
