There will  be different personalities inside your work area. There are people whom you call friends while others just suck the energy right out of you because of their negativity. These are the people whom you are forced to work with and deal with everyday. So, how do you deal with these kind of people? Here are ways on how you can.

Find out the way as to why such a person breeds so much negative that others are offended by it. Sometimes, you will have to look past the attitude to see that there is a real human being behind such curtain of negativity. There might be personal experiences that led him to such situation.

When a negative person starts bantering and takes you in to his circle of hatred, simply smile and remain detached from whatever is happening. If you can, just leave the room and never look back. The best way to handle pessimistic people is to never give them the attention they seek.

Handle the information as to why that person is such a negative force to you and to everyone around him. There might be reasons like grudges or hatred against you that fuels his negativity towards you.
