How to Enjoy Your Life More
To make money we lose our health
To restore our health we lose our money
We live as if we will never die
We then die without having really lived….
Most of us do not enjoy the life we are living. We have allowed stress from the cares of every day life to rob us of our joy. Life is a wonderful gift to be enjoyed and In spite of the external pressures, there are way’s to ensure that our lives can be lived with joy and happiness.
1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age,
weight and height. If someone doesn’t like it thats their problem. love yourself just as you are.
2. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until your sides hurt. It’s good for you.
3. When you lose someone you love, endure, grieve, and move on. Do not let your “life” end with the loss. Be ALIVE while you are alive.
4.Take care of your health: If it is good,
preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you
can improve, get help.
5. Don’t take guilt trips. You can’t undo the past so just learn from your mistakes and move forward.
6. If you love someone tell them so. Tell them often and punctuate it with a warm hug.
7. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it’s
family, pets, music, plants, whatever. You will enjoy each day more with all that you love in your surroundings.
8. Enjoy the simple things like a sunny day or the melody of a bird singing, the laughter of a child or the funny antics of your family pet.
9. Celebrate your victories both large and small
10. Start each Day giving thanks that you are alive to enjoy it.
I’m sure there are many more things to add to this list if you just give it a little thought. What it all boils down to is love yourself because you are worthy of love. Enjoy what you have instead of worrying about what you don’t have. And look for the every day pleasures we often miss because we are to busy to stop and notice them.
