How to Go Solo to a Party

No date? Don’t worry, you can survive without someone with you. Oops…provided you’re bold enough to stand on your own.

Going solo. It’s either singles frustration or singles freedom of exploration.

Dress to Kill.
Nothing can beat you in terms of how you handle yourself in front of many. If you dress lousy, you’re confidence might be little off. If you’re overdress, you might be uncomfortable of the people around you. If you are cad in such a sexy, well-groom, balance and chic outfit- yes, you’re  bringing  the eyes of many towards you.

Smile.
Wear your smile when you enter the room. Smile can lightens up the whole room while you’re confident enough to greet others with such a smile in your face.

Talk, Mingle and Laugh.
Don’t choose whom you talk to in the party. Listen carefully of what they say so that you can catch up and response easily and cleverly.

Be Sassy and Witty.
If someone ask you, where’s your date? You may either laugh, shrug or else use that clever, funny one liner you know. As if you can make it on your own without somebody with you or you may give a “I am happy without a date, buddy” look. I went to a party one time and I went solo.  Somebody asked me, “Where’s your date?” I shrugged my shoulder and smile. He continued, “A girl like you should have a date”. I laughed in response to that statement.

Build your confidence.
Confidence is the name of the game. Breathe in. Breathe out. Inhale. Exhale. Then, smile. Surely, it will transform your lousy feeling into a high-spirited self.

The Main Exit.

Yes, this is the best part. When you want to get out at once in the party, you’re eyes are always reading the word ‘exit’. When you’re about to exit, you can grab one white wine or red wine, depending on your taste and swing your body towards the main door.

The bottom line is have the fun, fun and fun. The bad news about it  when you go to a party- you can always hear  bad gossips- it’s either you’re the subject or either somebody else. So, be careful in gathering news. Bad news can spoil your mood. Always have the positive response to criticism.

I should have read this when I was younger because I have always hated parties. I never knew what to say and would stand there like a lemon. Nowadays I don’t care so much. I say what I like.
A very helpful and well written article.
