How to Have a Great Saturday Morning
Wake up late on Saturdays? Wish that you could start the weekend feeling great, happy, and refreshed? Read this, and you’ll enjoy every Saturday morning you get.
Some people have clammy, awful morning on Saturday, and who can blame them? They go out on Friday, and go to bed tired, and wake up late in the day. Well, there is a way that you can have a really nice Saturday morning. Follow some of these simple steps, and your mornings will get better and better.
1. Don’t go overboard on Friday night.
While you’re open to have fun, if you want to wake up early and have a good start to your day on Saturday, staying up late at clubs and partying to the max isn’t the best solution. If you do find yourself in a situation like that, try to leave early, or not to eat too heavily or drink too much– you won’t be in a good mood when you wake up.
2. Wake up at a reasonable set time.
While you don’t want to wake up six o’clock in the morning, do you want to get up at noon, eat “breakfast” at one, and get your day going much later? A reasonable time to wake up on Saturday morning is eight or nine o’clock. You can buy an alarm clock for a small price at most stores.
3. Take a hot shower.
Taking a shower in hot water not only relaxes your body, but it also wakes you up slightly faster! When you wake up, you’ll feel a bit tired, clammy, and maybe a little it unclean, from sweat or itchy pajamas that you wear. Take a warm shower and wash yourself, and you’ll feel a lot better as your morning progresses.
4. Eat a healthy, but delicious breakfast.
You don’t have to be a five-star chef to enjoy a tasty morning meal. An omelette, pancakes, french toast, or even a simple sandwich with toasted wheat bread and ham and cheese is fine. You can easily buy some cooking supplies and ingredients at a grocery store. Why just eat a bowl of corn flakes when you can have a delicious, spicy, omelette? It’s as simple as buying some eggs, peppers, and spices from a grocery store and turning up your stove. If you have zero-cooking skills, why not buy a cookbook at your local bookstore? Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so make sure that you make it your most important meal of the day.
5. Plan an activity for the day.
Once you’ve showered, gotten dressed, eaten, you’re refreshed and ready for your day. If it’s a cold day, why not planning a day for shopping with some friends? If it’s a nice day out, why not go to the park, or spend the day outside? And if it’s summer, why not go to the beach? There are so many things you can do on a Saturday, so make a plan with friends or family, and have fun.
