If you keep a journal, you will know exactly what to do every single day.
Have a journal
You can use a journal as a planner and you can map out all the work that you’ll need to do. You can make a schedule. You can start with day 1 and start out with the time you wake up to the time that you’ll go to sleep. You can also buy a planner with all the time slot in it for the current year.
Set the alarm
You can wake up in time if you have the alarm going on. You can set it to the time that you want to wake up. If you don’t have an alarm, you can over sleep. It’s a good way to wake up in time. The earlier you wake up the more time you have for your day.
Delegate
You don’t have to do everything in the house. You can ask your spouse or kids to help out. They can clean the house for you. Your daughter can help you go grocery shopping. Your son can cut the grass. Your secretary can call your clients for you or make your meeting schedule for the day.
Shorten time
You can assign a project less time than you currently use. This will save you time. If it takes you one hour to answer your email, you can filter all the spam and block all spam and shorten it out to thirty minutes. You will ignore all emails that are not important. You will also focus instead of wandering off into other things.
Write down your activities daily
You can write down the activities that you’ll be doing next to the time slot on your planner. For example:
8am- wake up
9am- Get dress and go to work
10am- At work
12pm- lunch time
You can do this for every single day. You won’t lose track of time and things that you need to do. You can sit down by the end of the week to see how you have improve your time management. You can make changes after you review your plan.
