How to Keep a Resolution

How many projects have you started but gotten distracted and never finished? I have found a way to focus, but I need your help.

I found Triond.com, a revenue sharing site for writers, Christmas Day. I have published 15 articles and have already made five cents, at the time of this writing.

Snow storms are hard on Solar Power and the winters short days mean that I have only an hour and a half to two hours a day of power for my power hungry desk top computer. This power shortage is the main reason I have written and published only 15 articles on Triond, in the last 6 days. Although to be fair to myself, I have also created three more Squidoo Lenses and spent the last three (power) days looking around Triond.

Reading the articles and comments is addicting and I will have to limit myself on that activity, even though it is fun and educational.

I have set my minimum goal for Triond, in 2010, at 400 published articles.

I shall do my writing at night and the typing and publishing during the sun powered days.

You see, I have decided to produce a significant income from the internet in 2010. Significant being not less than $20,000.

I have spent the last three years learning and chasing down wild geese (and there are a lot of wild geese on the internet) and have established 6 small but steady streams of income.

However, lack of focus has kept those income streams small.

I am taking this step of publishing my New Year’s resolution, to force my focus on these 6, now 7, income streams.

(Triond will be my 7th stream of internet income. Wish I had found this site 3 years ago, it is easy to use.

I am counting on you to keep reminding me of my minimum goals for 2010.

How do you handle your focusing ?
