So you are beginning to read. That’s good. It shows you are interested. The very interest reveals your unexplored potential and your desire to be successful.

I usually hate writing such HOW TO articles because there is no definite way to live a life or any set pattern you can follow to become successful. It all depends on one’s own self and it varies from person to person. This actually is not an HOW TO article. This is something which talks about proper approach, that’s it. To tell you in clear terms, these are just feel good words , you can read to boost your confidence when you are down or to give yourself a bit of comfort in times of distress.

Whatever this article says is not something like a palace built on thin air, it is but a product of experience, and can be treated as a bit of advice, but to understand this one needs to think and try to live every sentence.

Leaders don’t help anyone by worrying. Worry is a misuse of their imagination, which is a strong asset of any potential leader and should not be invested unwisely. Practice upgrading your way to concern. Then, once you state your concern, create your action plan to address it. And be sure that your action plan is really going to work because you are able, you are potent, and that is why you are a LEADER. Have faith and confidence in yourself, but one thing to be kept in mind is that there is but a thin line of separation between confidence and over confidence.

                If we respond to our problems in life by worrying about them, we will spoil our mood, waste our energy, and lower our self esteem. Being a worrier is not at all a powerful self-concept. It is not inspiring to others when they see their leader worrying.

Instead of worrying, imagine some action you could take now, something bold and beautiful inspired by the current ‘problem’. Getting into that habit raises self esteem, increases energy level and love for life. People are motivated not by those who worry about life, but by those who are in love with life.

                The very essence of leadership is that you got to have a vision and live by it, and work towards it and your vision should be the most accepted and joy rendering to all. Courage is the most sought after virtue. It takes a tremendous act of courage to admit yourself that you are not defective in anyway whatsoever. Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear

                People can be divided into two classes- those who go ahead and do something and those people who sit still and inquire                 why it wasn’t done the other way and try to find faults. The first class of people need the virtue of confidence , faith, courage and determination to face the brunt meted out by the dangerous and good-for- nothing second class. I personally hate such people, but these are the most common ones to be found at every bend of life, especially when you are the “go getter” type, or the first class which I am talking about.

                “Leadership is the art of getting someone else to do something you want done because he wants to do it” to quote Eisenhower, and this statement carries great meaning which needs to be understood in the most positive frame of mind.

                The reason most major goals are not achieved is that we spend our time doing second things first. Human resources are the best resource ever possessed by man, and their creative and wise use leads to success, and by human resources I intend to refer to the power of mind, to the values, and to the characteristics which are present in every human being and which are unique. Those who follow the part of themselves that is great will become great. Those who follow the part that is small will become small. It is all in the mind and depends on your ability to control and spearhead it to your own advantage.
