How to Manage Stress?

This article is about how to deal with the most common problem of all i.e. stress.

Stress is a part of everyday life, everybody is affected by stress aren’t you if you say no then “well done” or no not “well done” because stress is good also and we call this eustress or good stress. Stress is good but more stress is bad.

But don’t worry, there are ways to tackle stress, bad stress or distress, some of the tips to manage stress is given below:

1)                  Connection means to be able to link up with someone or something to be able to attach, the greatest stress reliever is to connect with your creator. Next is connecting with yourself, and finally is to connect with people.

2)                  Attitude of gratitude is very essential in every walk of life when you have established a habit of being grateful all the time you start feeling positive and you start looking at things you have rather than those you don’t

3)                  Acceptance, it is very rightly said that, “change what you cannot accept and accept what you cannot change”. We are not omnipotent beings we have our limitations everything can’t go our way all the time, even the greatest of people didn’t have that kind of a luxury. Start accepting things which you cannot change or wait patiently for the right time.

4)                  Relax, there are a whole lot of exercises available to teach you how to relax. In this era of technology and selfishness where we can get easily distracted by so many things on TV and can easily get frustrated by the negative inputs it’s all the more important to try some relaxation techniques on a daily basis. Deep breathing is probably the best of them all.

5)                  Turning off your TV is one of the ways to reduce your stress. Because when you are watching TV all the time, most of the time in the news there are anchors who give news about killings, bombings, rape, torture. All these are affecting your mind and if you are a sensitive person you get frustrated by it, so turn off your TV or reduce viewing it, it will certainly reduce your stress. Or you can do is watch only good meaningful programs.
