I just saw this movie, “The prestige”, one of my favorites. Is about two magicians whose starts their career being friends, or at least companions, but everything turns upside down cause of a tragic incident, anyway, I’m not here to sell the plot of the movie to any of you who haven´t seen it, the thing is, I’m a magician myself, i had worked in cruises, theatres, right on the street, bars, clubs, you name it, I’m as well a Pick up artist, this is a way of life for me since i give boot camps, training and seminars, of course, magic is an integral part of my “game” when I’m picking up girls at the clubs and coffee shops, but not crucial, why do i say this being a magician? well, cause not everybody is and I had always believed that is better to work with the things you already have, other than pushing people to learn how to appear a quarter from a chick´s ear, if you like magic, cool, this article work good on you anyway, but if you are not a master illusionist but wanna work some magic with the ladies, keep reading, this interests you…
If you had seen the movie or know something about magic, you know a trick is divided usually into three stages;
- The Promise: When you promise to the audience they will see something truly unique, and you got their attention.
- The Turn: You change the things a little, transform the ordinary in something in the way to be extraordinary.
- The Prestige: The most difficult and important part of the trick, the climax, when you show them something really amazing.
Well, when we talk about women, things are not really so different, let me explain myself, let´s say I’m with a bunch of friends drinking a couple of beers in a bar, and we see this table full of beautiful ladies, i approach them and start conversation, maybe i would perform a little magic for them, they are baffled, i keep talking with them for a while, after a couple of minutes i get the number of the most beautiful girl in the bar.
