In Life, Always Have a Backup

Life is very uncertain, anything could happen any moment. If you are unprepared you will be destroyed. So why not have a back-up when we know the uncertainties of life.

The major thing in life is one needs to know what is his foundation or base of life on which his life moves smoothly. It could be his house, his job, his business, his staff, his assets or whatever is very important without which life would become difficult. Of course, you cannot count your parents, family and friends in this since you cannot have any back-up for them.

Let us consider a job, which is a very important aspect of any human being living on this planet.

Assume you are very dependable on your job, your family relies on you and you on your job. What would happen if one fine day you loose your job for which you were never prepared and never though this would happen. What will you do?

You might say that you can look for another job, but how would you fill the gap till you get the new job. In case is something happens that closes your chances of doing any job any more, then what?

Will you start a new business? How long would it take to settle and will you have the investment capacity while you have lost the job, unless you have made the provisions for future through your savings and investments while you were on job. 

So, the best thing would be one has to be continuously conscious of his life and uncertainties and should always consciously make an effort to keep a back-up handy. If you are doing a job, make something for yourself as a backup assuming that tomorrow for any reason you loose your job you have something in your hand to do.It could be any part-time business or anything that you think can fill the gap.

It is something like what we say in medical terms Prevention is better than cure could apply in general life as well by saying Prevention is better than worse, if you agree.
