A tip for the early bird:

If you leave for work really early in the morning you might want to consider tinting your windows (Out of sight! Out of mind! ). Also, most local tag agencies allow you to purchase any U.S. Armed Forces customized license plate. I know you really weren’t in the Marines but at least you’re the only one who knows that! This way, you’re contributing to your men and woman of the military while seeming less vulnerable.  A would-be assailant will think twice before bothering a soldier. Listen up females! If your windows are tinted, the assailant will think twice before getting near you. The assailant will most likely assume you’re the male-military type.

Note: If your local tag agency won’t allow you to have a U.S. Armed Forces tag, simply go out and get any type of decal or sticker that reflects, “law enforcement” or a “military presence.”

Fact: Criminals attack people who look weak or vulnerable. So, if the assailant can’t see you through the tinted windows, he or she will probably just move on to the next potential victim.
