Irresistible: Eight Ways to Make Anyone Like You
Are you in need of more friends? Are you desperately finding ways on how to make people like you? Well, look no further! Learn to make yourself irresistible with these eight simple steps.
Ever wonder how to be everybody’s man? Well, if Everybody loves Raymond, everybody can love you too. Be your own sitcom, run your own show. Show your likeability to anyone and everyone. Who says you need to be rich to make anyone like you? Who says you need to be perfectly perfect for everyone to like you? Here’s 8 ways showing you how to be just all so irresistible.
Always apologize.
Even if you are right, apologize. Somehow, people know that “sorry” seems to be the hardest word. So they may think, wow. You actually know how to pronounce the hardest word. They will be impressed and all the more they will like you. Vary the degree of sorry-ness, depending on the situation, like “Sorry for…”, “I’m really sorry..”, “I’m really regrettably sorry..” Show them even more impressive stuff by saying it in different languages. For example, in Japanese, “sumimasen”, in Chinese, “dui bu qi”, in French, “désolé” and so on. And more often than not, you will be forgiven right away.
Always thank people for what they have done.
Thank someone for helping you open the door, be it to the door of a toilet cubicle. Thank someone who blocks your path while you are walking. At least you get the attention! Nevertheless, you should always be sincere when thanking someone. So, write him a “Thank You” card, throw a party just to thank him, write a 10,000 word essay to show your appreciation, wear a tee-shirt with the word “Thank You” printed on it when you meet him the next time round. If someone thanks you, thank him for saying “thank you” to you. Also, thank that lucky guy who has stepped onto your foot, at least it makes you feel that your foot is “alive” with feelings!!
Sing a tune.
Any tune. According to scientists, music produces a frequency so pleasant to the ear that it has healing effects to the mind and soul. When someone’s feeling down, sing to him or her. When a good friend of yours just got dumped, sing to brighten up his or her day. In the public restroom, sing in your cubicle. The other users on the left and right of your cubicle will appreciate your effort of helping them make their toilet experience such an enjoyable one. For those who don’t have the leisure of watching American Idol on TV, stage your very own audition right in front of them. And you don’t need to be in Hollywood to do that. You have a huge crowd anywhere, anytime, on the train, on the bus, on your way to work, on your way to the toilet. In fact, anywhere could be your stage! Everyone would love to watch a free performance.
