Learning or knowledge is a process of life. In order to live, we must have learning.

The flower theory of knowledge is simple. We think of our ancestors as not knowing much, yet the knowledge each culture possesses started and was built from them. Start with an infant or child, and this human will hopefully grow into productive adulthood. There are seven parts to the flower theory. They are the seed, roots, stalk, leaves, bud, flower and whole plant. Since no human is the same, learning and its process is not either. The infant is dependant when it is born. The child is capable of learning. This is the seed. Make learning fun and a part of everyday life. When a the child is able to hold markers, teach them to hold it properly. One hand will be dominant, and it may take time to observe and determine this. Read to the child. Explore the shopping areas teaching colors and let them touch things. This will develop their senses. The senses are balance, intuition, sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell. Teach the alphabet starting with the vowels and their sounds. Teach all the letters, then put simple words together. Use beginner books with color and pictures and encourage them to draw on the book. Introduce simple math, including numbers and symbols. Apply them to life. Point out street signs and their meaning. Develop curiosity. Pets are good for this also. When a child becomes frustrated, it means the learning is too hard for them. So put off what you are doing for a time and do something different. These are the roots of the theory. The stalk comes next, for learning will begin to sprout. Add sunshine and water, and these are the teacher and enjoyment that comes with knowledge.

Use patience and keep going over material until the child knows the material. make sure it is suitable for their age. Each part of the brain affects learning. If an injury occurs, it affects that part of the senses. An example is an injury to the back of the head may impair sight. Poor sight and or hearing affects the ability to learn, such as needing glasses or a hearing device, so it is important to have the eyes and ears tested by a qualified doctor. If a child is ill, hungry in pain or tired, it is harder to acquire knowledge. Next the leaves come. This is the child sharing and retaining some of what they have learned. Continue to build from the basics. use the basics in each field. Teachers spend many years in schools and on line to learn to teach. The bud comes now. These are the fields of knowledge. They are language, words, spelling, writing, music, science and its parts and others. Each has the potential to become a petal in the flower. More are Space and Earth science, biology, art, chemistry, botony, and physics. There are geography of the local, Natioanl and world. More fields are history, government, economics and civics. Any field of study comes is learned from books, experts, writings and the internet. Learning and knowledge make imprints in the brain. There is much to be learned about still in research. Memory is what has been learnedThere is recall and application. This is why teaching why and how knowledge applies to life and the future. It has been estimated we only use parts of our ability to develop and put to use our brain. Our bodies and senses must be healthy in order to learn. Proper exercise and nutrition are imperative. Knowledge and learning are a continuing process in life. Higher education means more responsibility to our fellow human and nature on this earth and someday beyond.

No one can program, learn, or develop for another human being. Lastly, the flower is in bloom and gives off a fragrance for a purpose in life. There are four kinds here. The wise, who learns from parents and others. This one is the best for they learn and fulfill their purpose in life. There is the complacent rebel who does not want to learn so there is regression and loss of much. There is the wicked, uncaring and by being uncaring they offend their fellow human beings. And lastly, there is the simple, who is unable to learn and must be cared for. What kind of flower are you and what will you become in life?
