Learn Foreign Languages Effectively – No Textbooks, No Teachers

How to learn foreign languages effectively on the Internet.

It is clear all of us need to speak at least one foreign language (if not two or even more), or at least try to learn it. Languages are fascinating to some people, others merely need them for school exams or their work. Here, I’ll show you how to reach your goal by the use of almost no textbooks, absolutely no expensive courses and no teachers. Moreover, I want to make your studying fascianting and fun. Is it possible…?

First of all, you need any source of your knowledge. Where do you search for it? Of course, there are thousands of textbooks, it is also normal there are expensive courses – it is and it always will be a great business, but… I don’t know where you live, but aren’t courses expensive, aren’t books boring? So, you might not have neither money nor strong will to continue learning.

Just find an alternative way. There are dozens of websites with free online lessons for both beginners and advanced learners. One example (Spanish): www.123teachme.com You can learn grammar online and don’t need to waste money on textbooks anymore…

Of course, grammar is not everything. I would even say it is the least important thing while studying a language and as you know – it doesn’t seem to be too much fascinating. It is commonly believed that to make your Spanish, French, German or any other language better you should focus more on the vocabulary. It is again not too much fascinating everyday try to memorize some new words from never-ending courses… My advice – find something of your interests. As I said, you don’t need textbooks if you have the Internet access. If you want to learn for instance Spanish – read some articles in the Spanish language. You may read about your hobbies, you may also read about countries of the Latin America. It might be really fascinating… Find some music in the given language, I am 100% sure you will easily find something for you. Translate your favorite song texts…

There is still one problem. I bet even if you spend years on learnig grammar, translating texts, listening to music you will not speak the language fluently. Anyways, it is very unlikely. And there is the key, the really effective way to develop you skills and get fluency in a language, which I want to share with you. You probably suspect I mean contact with native speakers. Yes, I do. But how…? They surely live hundreds or even thousands of kilometers from you, so you simply can’t find friends among them, you don’t have the real contact with the language and need a teacher… But you have the Internet…! There are many helpful websites, for example: web.icq.com/chat

English in not my mother tongue – I’m a man from Poland who knows English mainly from American girls, not from school. And just imagin how much fun I’ve always had learning it… I can also fluently speak Spanish, in spite of the fact that I have never had a teacher, I’ve never used boring textbooks and I’ve been learning it for only two years. Thus, don’t waste money, don’t waste time, learn languages having fun!
