Life’s Predicament

When you’re down and out, and you need a friend, never feel that there’s no one to help you.

Remember, when you thought you were the only one, always coming across a problem- like someone up there just doesn’t give you a break. Well, it’s not just you with these problems. They may pop-up every now and then. We all deal with the situations life hands us – but do not despair – we all have to take a deep breath and deal with it. It’s a part of life – no one said life was easy it’s all part of growing up! So remember it’s not just you-it’s “all of us”, it’s a sign if you can survive this problem – the next one is a piece of cake!

Recently one of my friends came to me with a problem that he didn’t, want to accept and wasn’t ready to let go of. My advice to him was, that in accepting the situation, he would be allowing change to come about. Unfortunately, it was not the answer he was hoping for, and he, was very frustrated by it.

However, a couple of weeks later he called to thank me for my guidance, and then he shared a story with me. He explained that once he finally freed himself of the emotional hold the situation had over him and accepted things the way they were, something very surprising happened. An inspired thought occurred to him that took him in a new direction and solved his problem! He said he now understood why acceptance was the key to change, and he was very happy and relieved to have learned that lesson.

Something magical does happen when you are able to accept what it is. Accepting reality doesn’t mean giving in or giving up. It means you accept things for what they are, rather than the way you want them to be. When this happens, you free your mind to look for solutions and opportunities that you weren’t aware of beforehand > because you had been focusing on the problem instead of the solution.

This is an excellent example of the power the mind holds and how it can really help us get what we want. I hope this letter gives you hope and the confidence to deal with any challenges you are facing now and that your week brings you positive solutions and opportunities.
