Living on The Edge: Meeting Life Challenges
In a sense, life is a series of challenges which we have to face every moment of our lives. It is said that one’s best comes out when one is challenged. All life challenges are not necessarily stressful; it all depends on how a challenge is viewed and acted upon.
In this 21st century, life is so fast that we often fail to catch up or keep abreast with the latest happenings. Life poses challenges all the time. Stop, think for a moment and look around yourself; you will find that life is a big challenge. Everyone tries to meet these challenges in their own ways. While some succeed others succumb to such life challenges.
We are living on the edges, where those who dare to be different and take up challenges succeed. The edges are advantaged positions only for a few that can maximize it and attain success in life. For the majority it is the point where everything could fall apart easily.
One who lives on the edge is in a critical period of life: success or failure depends on the course that one is willing to take beyond this point. Those who put up sustained hard work with correct strategy meet success while others end up in failures. Hard work is bitter but success is sweet.
Living on the edges, we must do our best to bridge the chasm between accomplishment and disappointment. If face with any challenge, we must put in additional efforts and mobilize all our resources and the support system to meet the challenge. Initial failures should not deter us from achieving success and failure itself should be considered as a challenge to attain victory in the long run.
Living on the edges, we have come a long way and yet we still have a long journey to continue. In a sense, life is a series of challenges which we have to face every moment of our lives. It is said that one’s best comes out when one is challenged. All life challenges are not necessarily stressful; it all depends on how a challenge is viewed and acted upon. Successful people have a sense of personal commitment to what s/he is doing, a sense of control over his/her life and a feeling of challenge, i.e. they see changes in life as normal, motivating and positive rather than as a threat
