Look Great in Every Photograph!
Tips for being photogenic this summer.

1. Make love to the camera. That’s what Marilyn Monroe did. When you love the camera, your personality and essence comes out through your eyes and your face takes a more natural, happy, pleasant pose.
2. Open up! Ask your photographer to count to three, whereupon you open your eyes. This works especially good outside and when you have group photos or kid photos. And gets rid of squinting.
3. Note the camera angle. A low camera angle is never flattering. Photographers suggest positioning the camera at the middle of your forehead and tilt it down.
4. Speak up. In a group have people move, take control. “You stand here and you stand here. I’ll be in the middle.”
5. Look at the background. You don’t want something more interesting in the background than your face is. Also you don’t want a busy scene. Get in front of a scrub or plain wall, if outside. Inside maybe use a blank wall or drapes as a background. Consider how the background will add to or detract from your picture.
Say cheese. Happy photos. You may not have to Photo shop yourself ever again!

I enjoyed this article because I usually take a bad picture.
Now I know why. It’s because I’m 6′6 and most folks are always
aiming the camera at a up angle when they take my picture.
