Main Features of Coaching
The coaching process is focused on developing the performance of individuals, essentially is a conversation between the coach and coachee.
Through various techniques such as listening, reflecting, asking questions and providing information.
It is important to note that coaching is closely related to change and transformation, of human capacity to grow, to alter inadequate behaviours and to generate new actions. Coaching also operates in emotional change. Every emotion implies a tendency to action, only by recognizing and understanding the emotional states, you may be aware of the different possibilities of conduct for processing.
In coaching must be present the following:
- values, previously discussed in conversation between coach and coach
- results: Continuous improvement of people
- discipline, to achieve goal and continuous improvement
- Training: to engage in discussions of real coaching, training is required
Intuitive knowledge is not enough or simply memorizing ideas and concepts, it is not a guaranteed to carry out talks to improve performance
