Make Money While You’re in College
Feeling broke? There is a wealth of ideas and advice on making extra cash while you’re in school. You just have to know where to look.
What if I don’t want to bother keeping up a website, but I do like writing? Take a look at the company that runs this website: Triond.com . They’ve figured out that internet users really like to upload content on a variety of things: articles, video, music, etc. There are other sites that do this, but Triond has a competitive edge. They share the commission from advertisers with the content providers. How great is that?!? Now you can submit content to the web, and have the potential to generate income from it. Does it get any easier than this? Well, probably some time in the future it will, but for now Triond is a text book example of creating passive income. And that’s the secret to finding time to do the things you need to do (college studies and exams) and doing the things you want to do (being with friends and family).
I know that there is a wealth of information and ideas for starting up business ventures or creating streams of passive income on the net while you’re still trying to get through college. I’ve only touched on a few popular ones. These ideas have small to no start-up costs associated with them. They can be worked on in your spare time. And if you stay with it after you graduate, you’ll have an established business right out of school. Making money while in college is only limited by your imagination.
There is no promise that you will be able to quit school and become a millionaire. But some of the information that writers and bloggers share has reportedly given some people the opportunity to make a six-figure income. Overall, many of the ideas can lead to creating a system of passive income . If you’re a college student, or even if you just like the idea of making extra pocket money every month, do a search for passive income ideas. There are plenty of resources; some better than others. It could be mind-blowing to try to sift through all the good ideas and to try to tackle just one. My advice: stop and take a deep breath; look out the window; breathe again.

This is a great article and I would also add that discovering what you want to do with your life is a better passtime in college than cruising the bars and binge drinking. Triond is one of the best things to happen for the world. Some day it will be as big as google.

Passive income is the key to wealth when it comes down to it and the earlier you start the better. I like the ideas offered in this post and something that’s really easy for college students to start making money in is affiliate marketing. In fact, I’ve written an article about it here: College Profits. Check it out, it might be helpful.

Denis: start with triond or Squidoo.com. Start by selling an old book on Amazon or your old cd’s on ebay.
You can do it.

You can also get a head start by selling this new product called StrapAHandle, it’s designed to make carrying anything easier. It’s perfect for move in day. My friend sold a whole bunch to people last year and he made enough money to buy all of his first semester books. You buy them for a cheap price and mark them up and sell them to people on campus. It’s a great idea. I’m doing it this year and so are a bunch of my friends at other campuses. Check out http://www.strapahandle.com for information.

For anyone that wants to earn an income online, you need to have several things that you are doing to keep your income steam steady. Also, you’ve got to keep up with it. It’s so easy to get discouraged if you aren’t instantly make much money. It will take time to get referrals and build traffic to any website you create. Creating articles that include your site, writing in forums, writing thoughtful comments on blogs, and time, time, time are what it will take. I’m writing about the steps I’m taking to earn an income online as a college student on my blog at passiveincomedorm.com.

I joined the MyBookCart.com Referral program to make money in college. They pay me a 10% commission for each book buyback they receive from my referral code. They even mail me free flyers upon request that contain my referral code, so all I have to do is hang them around campus and wait to get paid. http://www.MyBookCart.com
